Carla Duque daughter of the renowned Betty Salsa Rumba pioneer of the clubs in Caracas, Luis Gudiño “El popular Hueso del 23” and one of the pioneers of Salsa activities in Caracas Dr. Ernesto Mendoza, are the drivers of this movement.

These three Venezuelan Rumberos Salsomanos decided to join forces to provide the South Florida salsero with musical events, dances, Salon Parties and in the not too distant future presentations of singers and orchestras of the salsa scene.

The Hosts have extensive and impeccable experience in organizing events, concerts, and parties in the city of Caracas -Venezuela, among these activities we can highlight presentations such as Bobby Valentin, Willie Rosario, Ray de la Paz, Mulenze, Pedro Brull, Bailatino, Frankie Vasquez, Herman Olivera among many others and as good RUMBEROS were assistants of emblematic salsa places such as Tio Pepe, O’ Gran Sol, Casa Latina, City Day, Status’ , El Sarao, El Sarao, El Maní es Así, Hipocampo, Hawai Kai, La Pachanga, Rincón Caribeño, La Asunción to mention the most attended.

The music will be provided by the famous Dj Jean Castillo, who has a good musical repertoire that we are sure will make the audience dance to this great Rumba.

Dj. Jean Castillo is characterized for making the salsa dancers dance until they get tired, he has dreamed in different locations in the city of Miami managing to captivate the Rumberos with the best of the best of Salsa and his extraordinary and excellent performance as far as musicalization is concerned.

Musical Events Come To Europe

Europe welcomes music events after a long hiatus from the pandemic. Nightclubs with a limited number of people as well as small outdoor Salsa festivals and congresses begin to reactivate their activities by receiving attendees with the presentation of a vaccination certificate or a negative Covid-19 test.

Here is a list of Salsa events in Europe with tradition that gives you a tropical welcome and says goodbye to what happened in 2020.

MONACO SALSA CONGRESS

Since 2006 (first edition), the Monaco International Salsa Festival has been an unavoidable Salsa event for dance lovers.

This festival, a product of the passion of Hamidine Thiam and the experience of Gregory Salerno, has joined the best artists in the world on the same stage. Several of the festival’s shows have been broadcast on EuroSport for consecutive years, demonstrating the quality offered by this 15-year-old festival.

CROATIAN SUMMER SALSA FESTIVAL

You can already feel the energy of the festival that makes all the people of the western part of the city of Rovinj (Croatia) dance Salsa. The Croatian Summer Salsa Festival aims to educate, inspire, communicate, and entertain fans of Salsa, dance, the sea, and the sun. To gain more skills in dancing Croatian Summer Salsa Festival brings you pre-festival classes, weekend workshops, and choreography bootcamps for those who want to push their limits.

From September 1st to 5th, the summer salsa festival in Croatia will be held in the landscape of the Seasunsalsa house in the city of Rovinj located on the Adriatic coast.

BERLIN SALSA CONGRESS

Berlin Salsa Congress – Do you accept the challenge?

In Berlin, the people will dance Salsa again in a congress this 2021. This event will be held outdoors under the sun during the day and at night you will live your passion indoors with three dance floors.

In this edition of the Berlin Salsa Congress, the focus will be on high-level social dancing from noon to midnight. Also, you can improve your skills in a series of exclusive workshops taught by a lineup of instructors from the world community in Berlin.

This Salsa congress, the longest in Europe in continuous operation since 2001, is renewed and brings Choreography Bootcamps.

  • Bootcamp # 1 is about teamwork in the genres of Salsa and contemporary fusion.
  • Bootcamp # 2. This is an Afro-fusion of Mambo. Here you will develop skills in footwork. It is designed for dancers with an intermediate level.
  • Bootcamp # 3. It is based on footwork for ladies only. Rhythm: Salsa

A Choreography Bootcamp challenges you in many different ways. It’s not just about choreography or technique. It is much more. It is expanding your limits with friends with the same interest, achieving an incredible sensation of overcoming obstacles by performing in front of a large and enthusiastic audience.

Latin Parties Begin In Europe During July 2021

In July, the summer begins in Europe and with it the imposing Latin Holidays. Hungary, Spain, and Croatia are the first three countries to resume Salsa Festivals and Congresses after 19 months of cessation of activities due to the Corona.

SALSA LATINA ISTRIANA FESTIVAL – CROATIA

Salsa Latina Istriana Festival started in 2004 as a free dance workshop with 100 dance lovers and enthusiasts to promote Salsa and other Caribbean dances.

This year comes to the seventeenth edition of this festival with tradition and community support with more than 15 European dancers, free Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Semba, and Urban Kiz workshops, international instructors, two boot camps, boat parties, 12 famous DJs, two free social dances on four floors, and much more.

Salsa Latina Istriana Festival 2021 will be held under the precautionary measures agreed upon for events and dance academies.

The workshops and the evening parties will take place over three days at Dom Hrvatskih Branitelja in the center of the coastal city of Pula.

HUNGARIAN SUMMER SALSA – HUNGARY

Develop part of your summer in this Sensual Salsa Festival 2021 to be held from July 8 to 12 at the Balaton Conference and Leisure Center located in the western area of Hungary.

Hungarian Summer Salsa will feature a Bachata Championship, Rueda Competition, Cuban Salsa On1, and Kizomba, as well as Parties in the water park, and boat sailing at sunset. More than 40 dance teachers will present their shows and there will be international DJs. A live concert will delight attendees for 90 minutes with the La Movida Cuba orchestra, and additionally, they will enjoy a wine tour in an authentic Cuban atmosphere.

HUNGARIAN SUMMER SALSA 2021

1 La Movida Cuba is a band from Budapest created in 2009 and made up of five talented Cubans, who developed a famed and danceable music project with interpretive artistic quality and flavor of the music of the Caribbean island.

Due to the versatility of their musicians, they implement daring choreographies where they interact with the public with new movements that today are known as La Movida in Budapest.

BACHATA COMPETITION IN A KAYAK?

The Festival Dance Club 2021 vol. 10 – Wedding Lux Edition with ten years of tradition in Poland returns to its roots with a dance competition inside a kayak the last weekend of August

This distinctive modality together with the animation of dance with oars characterizes the Festival Dance Club 2021 vol. 10 – Wedding Lux Edition. This event with tradition will have two days of rafting along the picturesque Wierzyca River surrounded by beautiful nature, great nights with barbecue, 2 dance parties with the best Latin DJs, and hours of bachata workshops with the most trained dance instructors.

At this festival, you will combine nature with the hot atmosphere of Latin parties. You can dance by the fire, in the meadow, on the bridges, in the streets, and of course during the instruction of the Dominican rhythm of the moment, La Bachata, at the Dworek Tucholski resort.

Two of the instructors for this edition will be the couple made up of Maciek Duda and Adriana Drozdowicz. The first is a certified Dominican bachata dancer, musician, and instructor. He started and developed his skills in dance from a very young age in Spain. Maciek has created choreographies for the dance program “Taniec Życia” broadcast by TVN in 2018. He also has led classes at major festivals in Poland and abroad such as Bachata King Festival (Greece), Estonia Bachata Festival, Bachata Stars Festival Budapest, El Sol Warsaw Festival, and many others.

Likewise, Adriana Drozdowicz has developed a unique and unrepeatable style in Poland that is based on the plasticity and naturalness of movements. Adriana teaches women to express their femininity through dance and what she is most passionate about is improvisation. She has obtained first place and the audience award in the Bachata Social Competition in 2018, in addition to third place in BachataStars Poland (2018).

The reason for the Festival Dance Club 2021 vol. 10 this year will be “The Wedding” so the elegant outfits will be appropriate for the party on Saturday.

This event aimed mainly at the integration of dance lovers guarantees 100% biosafety measures, as well as if the festival cannot be carried out due to coronavirus restrictions, all funds will be returned.

Discover The 8 Orchestras Of Tempo Latino 2021 (Cancelled)

The major Salsa Festival in France announced the lineup of orchestras to perform at Les Arènes: Pacific Mambo Orchestra, Los Van Van, Interactivo, London Afrobeat Collective, Alain Pérez, and Issac Delgado will display their talent on stage

Les Arènes (the only paid access area of the festival) will be the Latin and Afro-Caribbean music concerts. Here, you will enjoy the cultural and generational exchange, also the talent of the great trajectory & emerging artists, who will present their repertoire for the maximum Salseros. In this 27th edition of Tempo Latino (a festival held outdoors), all the biosecurity measures implemented in the country will be respected.

The renaissance of the Latin sound of the Big Bands of the 1940s will be in the performance by one of the most important orchestras in the United States, Pacific Mambo Orchestra. Their music combines Mambo, Pop, Cha Cha, Timba, and Bolero. Additionally, Pacific Mambo Orchestra was the winner of the “Best Tropical Album” at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

This North American orchestra was founded 11 years ago by the Mexican pianist Christian Tumalan and the German trumpeter Steffen Kuehn. They have collaborated with famous artists such as Carlos Santana, Poncho Sánchez, Pete Escovedo, and Arturo Sandoval. Currently, this Latin Big Band performs on the west coast of the United States, and its repertoire is in English and Spanish. His third album: The III Side fuses the Mambo traditions of the 50s with the music of the moment.

The emblematic Cuban music orchestra will celebrate its 50 years of experience on the Les Arènes of Tempo Latino stage.

Los Van Van was founded in 1969 by the bassist, composer, and legend of Cuban music, Juan Formell.

Juan, accompanied by José Luis Quintana, known as “Changuito” and César “Pupy” Pedroso, invented the “Songo”, a Cuban rhythm predecessor of the “Timba” or Cuban Salsa. This rhythmic fusion generated the Salsa-Son, a sound with a Cuban style.

In 2018 they recorded their first record production “Legado” since Juan Formell’s passed away in 2014. This tribute album has 14 songs with 3 new versions of international singles: “Te extraño”, “Por qué lo haces”, and “Amiga mía”.

London’s addicting Afrobeat for ten years has offered festive music based on Jazz, Funk, Rock, Dumb, and African Vibes. Its international ADN, composed of nine members from England, Italy, France, Congo, Argentina, and New Zealand, has made its rhythm together with the powerful voice of the Congolese singer Juanita Euka, addictive music with powerful and committed messages. Alain Pérez, bassist, singer, and arranger, composes his orchestra of 13 young musicians on stage to offer a mixed show of contemporary Cuban Salsa, Timba, and Latin Jazz. His talent has given him marvelous experiences with internationally renowned orchestras and musicians such as Los Van Van, Irakere, Issac Delgado, Paquito D’Rivera, and Celia Cruz. He always is accompanied by his elephant-head cane, in homage to Cuban musician Benny Moré.

Alain also has been influenced by flamenco for his work with Spanish artist Paco de Lucía.

This multifaceted artist born in Havana was nominated twice for the Latin Grammy Awards, the first in 2015, in the category Best Traditional Tropical Music Album with “El alma del Son, tributo a Matamoros” and the second, “ADN” nominated in 2017 in the category Best Salsa Album.

El Cuento de la Buena Pipa 2020 is his most recent record production, and you can enjoy it on the main stage of the festival.

The great voice of Cuban Salsa, Issac Delgado, released his first album “Dando La Hora” in 1991 under the direction of Cuban pianist and composer Gonzalo Rubalcaba.

On November 13, 2020, he presented his new album “Dando La Hora 30th Anniversary Gold Edition” with eight temas remastered themes: La Novia Que Nunca Tuve, Aunque Soy Como Soy, Amor De Tierra Y Cuerpo, Entrégate a Mí, Cuando estás Lejos Estas Inalcanzable, Centímetro a Centímetro, Si La Vuelvo a Encontrar y Ella Es Un Reloj. “¡Vaya que chévere!”
