Memo Arroyave, entre las voces más importantes e impecables del Caribe

Considered as one of the faithful representatives of Venezuelan salsa, the young vocalist Guillermo José “Memo” Arroyave, born on July 22nd in the city of Caracas, arrives to “Salsa Escrita” for an exclusive interview.

Memo Arroyave, continues to project himself with more and more quality and professionalism, characteristics that define him in the Caribbean music genre at the national and international levels.

In a pleasant and enjoyable conversation with Memo, he told us about his career and his current and future projects.

Memo Arroyave, welcome to Barquisimeto’s salsa column “Salsa Escrita”; it is a great pleasure for us to have you as our special guest and we would like you to tell us about your beginnings in your artistic career.

-Thank you Carlos for the opportunity you are giving me to reach your readers in a direct and fraternal way.

Memo Arroyave, among the most important and impeccable voices of the Caribbean

My beginnings in the world of music and show business date back approximately to 1996, when I was a student of the successful Venezuelan Rafa Galindo (R.I.P.D.), the musical legend of our country.

Then I ventured into the stages forming part of different groups in Caracas, such as Partitura Latina, Orquesta Gente Novel, Orquesta Ensueños, Galaxy Latin Band, El Código Salsero, among others.

-Memo, which artists have you shared the stage with, what can you tell us about them? Professor Carlos, I have had the opportunity to share the stage and accompany, on occasions, as a soloist and others as a backing vocalist, national and international artists of the stature of: Andy Montañez, Ismael Miranda, Viti Ruiz, Christian Fernandez, Adalberto Santiago, Pupy Santiago, Paquito Guzman, Roberto Blades, Jose Mangual Jr, Max Torres, Wichy Camacho, Willman Cano, Nino Segarra, Nelson Arrieta, Marcial Istúriz, Mandinga Star Band, Wílmer Lozano, Wiwi Buznego, Wílmer Cobos, Cheo Valenzuela, Miguel Araujo, Erick Franchesky, Irving Manuel, Ángel Flores, Samir Bazzi, Manuel Guerra y su Orquesta, and in December 2019, I shared the stage with Hermán Olivera, Luisito Carrión and Frankie Vásquez.

-Regarding current projects, what can you tell us about them? I am part of several projects simultaneously my friend Carlos, among which stand out: Orquesta Puma Band, Victor Cardona y la Máquina de la Salsa, La Rumba Sonora de New York, Afro Códigos and recently I was invited to participate in the 10th Anniversary album of “Los Rumberos del Callejón”.

Well Memo, for all that you have given us to know about your talent and dedication, you are an obligatory reference of the salsa show and we would like to know about your most recent and future projects.

-In fact, I recently recorded and released the song “Si falta el Aire”, a composition by the Spaniard David Santisteban, with arrangements by Enmanuel “Cerebro” Romero and under my production.

It was recorded in Caracas, Mexico, Miami, and New York, mixed and mastered in the Venezuelan capital, as part of my first musical production. Other of my hits are: “Y lloré”, “No Puedo estar sin ti”, which I did a duet with Rafael “El Pollo” Brito. And as a scoop for your salsa column “Salsa Escrita”, I already have the next promo ready and it is a duet with NG2 from Puerto Rico and last week was the release of the song with José Madera Niño “3º Mundo”, titled: “Me gustas pero…”, which is sounding strong and last year I recorded for a Colombian pianist, but he is based in Washington, United States, which made an album called “10” and among other singers participate: Rodrigo Mendoza, Mariana “La Sonora de Venezuela”, Marcial Istúriz, Gonzalo Díaz, Mike Barrios, which is a talentazo of Zulia state, who is currently in Mexico, my person and other people from other countries.

Soon I will be in the production that is in the process of mixing and where Argenis Carruyo, Oscar Arriaga, Wichi Camacho, and others also participate.

-Excellent Memo, I understand that in addition to your facet as a singer, you also dabble in the media?

That’s right professor, let me tell you that I am the nephew of Fernando Sosa Leal, I have done radio and television since 2002; I started with a radio program in the state of La Guaira, I was the director of the musicalization of Azul 95. 9 FM, then we did “Mundo Latino”, there I was as an animator with Fernando Sosa Leal and Luis Arturo in CMT, then in TVES, but I leave the project to devote myself more to my singing career and also went several times to Puerto Rico to the editions of the National Salsa Day, World Salsa Congress, to give coverage from there for all Venezuela and the Caribbean and recently as the producer of Strike 13 with Fernando Sosa Leal in his Bowling program for Meridiano TV.

Carlos, I wanted to thank you for the focus you give to the singer through your salsa column, if I may say individually and not so much as choristers, which of course is important, but in your work and interviews we have read the support and contribution you give to our musical productions and recordings with orchestras, since this way we make ourselves known to music lovers as well as to the public.

Finally, I want to thank you for your time and congratulate you for this work that you do with a lot of enthusiasm, with desire and that should be appreciated not only by me but by all musicians, artists who are giving it their all and that, if it were not for people like you, it would be even more difficult.

Join and enjoy the end of this winter in the country with the Latin concert of the female group Mulatason and the band with the singular joy of Mambo Alfredo Buendía y Los Picaflores, this Saturday, March 5th at 9 PM at 3 Rue Ferdinand Buisson, 82000 Montauban, France Association Le Rio. Try to pre-sale tickets for € 20 because the price at the door will be € 24 per person.

And for those who still don’t know Mulatason, here I make a summary of their history. This orchestra formed in September 2013 by its director Yarelis Martínez Chávez is made up of five women with harmonious voices, and their music is a mixture of dance rhythms that range from Salsa through Timba and ending with the traditional melodies of the island of Cuba. Their popular and peculiar choreography called “Rikiti” has been their hallmark that they have managed to spread across large national and international stages.

The orchestra is made up of nine talented artists residing in Havana (Cuba) who graduated from higher art schools. Each member of the band is no older than 25 years old and they have a repertoire of original compositions.

Mulatason “Las Princesas de la Salsa” returns to Europe to present their new album No Vale Rendirse celebrating almost nine years in the art scene.

On the other hand, and for those who have not heard before about Alfredo Buendía y Los Picaflores, below I will tell you a little about them. This project of seven musicians was born on an afternoon in December 2016 in order to have fun on stage, make a type of music that injects energy into the audience, and transports joy and light madness to the spirit.

Alfredo Buendía (Lead Vocals – Trumpet 2) was returning from three years as a Jazz crooner in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), he wanted to bring something new, interesting, and different to the artistic scene in France since he had become accustomed to the type of show that it’s made in America. Also, he wanted to play rhythmic and deliberately festive music like the one he had been listening to for a long time-El Mambo by Pérez Prado-with its history from Cuba in the 1950s to Mexico.

This bewitching goal materialized with Pierre Levy (Tenor Saxophone), Jonas Chirouze (Drums), Clément Lefèvre (Trumpet), Hugo Lebeau (Congas), Guillaume Pique (Trombone), Youssef Ghazzal (Double Bass), and Alfredo Buendía managing to create El Mambo a novel concept between Afro-Latin music and jazz little explored on the French scene.

Le Balajo nightclub open since 1936 brings Salsa and Bachata classes every Tuesday from 7:30 PM to 2 AM for beginners and intermediate level dancers. Salsa lessons for amateurs start at 7:30 PM while intermediate level classes begin at 8:30 PM followed by a Latin party hosted by DJ Karim until 2 AM.

Remember that to access the club you must present a Vaccination Certificate (Required) and an identity document.

The fees to attend this weekly event of joy and good humor are €8 and include non-alcoholic drinks and €12 if the drink is alcoholic, but if you just want to enjoy the bar and its atmosphere, the admission is €5.

The Bar/Restaurant/Club La Pachanga is a place of reference for Salsa lovers, it is located in Paris at 8, rue Vandamme 75014. This club is designed with a cozy and Caribbean style. At the bar, you can enjoy different types of cocktails, Mojitos, Caipirinha, or Cuba Libre, just as they offer only Latin American dishes at the restaurant.

At Pachanga, you can attend classes for beginner and intermediate levels from Tuesday to Saturday from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM with different instructors who will make you live an hour of Salsa Cubana and Salsa Puertorriqueña dance.

On Friday, March 18th, you can enjoy the Soireé Mix Latino “La Calle” event from 4 PM to 9 PM at Bar Le 3 located at the French city and commune Valence at 4 rue André Lacroix. This bar has a tropical atmosphere with living rooms with sofas and armchairs as well as a cozy and warm decoration. It also has a selection of 30 cocktails and a permanent musical atmosphere with a selected playlist of Jazz and other genres.

And the last Latin Music Bonus in France that I bring you for this edition is the Fiesta Latina Metz to be held on Friday, March 26th. This festival will offer you two workshops (Salsa and Bachata), in addition to having fun with the rhythm of Cuban Salsa, Dominican Bachata, Sensual Bachata, Kizomba, and other Caribbean melodies. There will be big parties with DJ Will, DJ Papy Culio, and DJ Kylian starting at 9 PM and ending with seven shows from 11 PM to 3 AM. Fiesta Latina Metz will have three rooms (Salsa/ Bachata/ Kizomba) and the prices to attend vary by combo: one workshop + evening: €12, while two workshops + evening: €20, and if you just want to attend to enjoy the shows the ticket has a value of €7. Fiesta Latina Metz will take place at the Quai Sablon Social and Cultural Center at 1 bis rue Castelnau 57000 Metz.

Néstor Sánchez “El Albino Divino”. With the Greatest Elegance the Golden Voice of Salsa

Néstor Sánchez “Maestro de Soneros¨.

Born in 1950 in New York, of Puerto Rican origin, he is considered by critics as one of the soneros with the best vocal technique.

In 1968 he began his musical career at the age of 19 in New York with the orchestra of Ray Rodriguez, Ray was the brother of the late Bobby Rodriguez, the recording was entitled “Introducing Ray Rodriguez and his Orchestra”, he was also with the Tonny Pabon Orchestra, and the Conjunto Candela.

1976 Nestor Sanchez joined the orchestra of the wonderful Jew, Larry Harlow, replacing Junior Gonzalez as lead vocalist and became a member of the Fania label stars, at that time,

Harlow was recording the album “La Raza Latina” for which Sanchez performed one song and the rest was in charge of the Panamanian Ruben Blades where he musically created the history of Nuestra Raza, from the Amerindians, the Spanish conquest, and the arrival of the black African slave.

The album, “El Albino Divino”, was one of his official presentations with the orchestra, with the Harlow Orchestra he spent almost ten years and recorded seven albums, among these: Rumbambola, Dulce aroma del éxito, Soy Latino.

1979 Harlow disbanded his orchestra, Sanchez also recorded with Tito Puente’s orchestra the song “Bonito y Sabroso” in the LP “Homenaje a Beny Moré” which won a Grammy award for Puente.

In 1984 he recorded the production Julio Castro y La Masacre, in 1990 he was released as a soloist in the romantic wave with the album Como Nunca.

Néstor Sánchez “Maestro de Soneros¨

In the year 2000 he was invited by the King of Bass Mr. Bobby Valentin to participate in the album La Gran Reunión, and in all the recordings where he participated as the first voice in the chorus.

This talented man, whom we consider one of the most outstanding voices in our music, and sonero of soneros, never had the recognition he truly deserved. As a tribute and vindication, the February 2017 Salsero of our page is dedicated to him in a heartfelt and sincere way.

As a singer, Néstor Sánchez loved Cuban music and considered himself an admirer of Abelardo Barroso, Beny Moré and Miguelito Cuni, and from La Isla del Encanto his favorites were Tito Rodríguez and Ismael Rivera, in whom he was most likely inspired to create his own style.

His musical career began at the age of 19 in New York in 1968 with Ray Rodríguez’s orchestra. His first recording was the same year and was entitled Introducing Ray Rodriguez and his Orchestra; the second, in 1969 and with this same orchestra, was called Delusion, these two musical works were made for Al Santiago’s label “Alegre Records”.

In 1970, Néstor Sánchez joined Tony Pabón’s orchestra with which he recorded six albums in LP format, these musical productions are: in 1970, Tony Pabon And His All-Stars and La Protesta With Tony Pabón: Free; in 1972, On The Right Track; in 1973, Introducing Néstor Sánchez; in 1974, Tony Pabón & La Protesta Featuring Néstor Sánchez – El Capitán; and in 1976, Tony Pabón Y La Nueva Protesta – Fango – Pura Salsa, Puro Disco.

After his time with La Protesta, El Albino Divino joined Conjunto Candela, with whom he produced an LP entitled Conjunto Candela.

In 1976, he joined the orchestra of “El Judío Maravilloso” Larry Harlow as lead vocalist, replacing the Puerto Rican singer Junior González. With that, he became one of the stars of the Fania label. Between 1977 and 1984 he recorded the albums La Raza Latina – A Salsa Suite, El Albino Divino, Rumbambola; Larry Harlow & Junior González – Our Latin Feeling / Nuestro Sentimiento Latino; El dulce aroma del éxito; Larry Harlow, Canta: Gary Carrión / Así Soy Yo; Larry Harlow – Yo Soy Latino and Larry Harlow / Señor Salsa, featuring the young singer Ray Pérez.

Between 1968 and 1984, Néstor Sánchez was not only part of the orchestras of Ray Rodríguez, Tony Pabón, Conjunto Candela and Larry Harlow. He also recorded with King Nando, Orchestra Colon, Los Hermanos López, Yambú, Andy Harlow, Adalberto Santiago, Charlie Palmieri, Ismael Rivera, Tito Puente, Willie Colón, El Conjunto Libre, Azuquita y Su Melao, Fania All Stars and Louie Ramírez.

Throughout the eighties, Néstor Sánchez’s career had a second stage, in which he participated in musical works as a singer and backing vocalist for other great stars of our musical firmament, such as Héctor Lavoe, Típica 73, Ray Barretto, Julio Castro y La Masacre, Rubén Blades y Seis del Solar, Cheo Feliciano, Ismael Miranda, Oscar D’ León, Celia Cruz and Bobby Valentín.

It is presumed that in his more than three decades of music he participated in some two hundred musical works, about half of which are presented in our “Discography” section, available on our web page. Her voice was also recorded in many musical works of the so-called salsa romántica.

Among the songs that the beautiful voice of our great Albino Divino left us, we highlight numbers such as: “Amor pa’ qué”, “Averigua”, “Bobo tú te quedarás”, “Bonito y sabroso”, “Compay, póngase Duro”, “Con la mayor elegancia”, “El bobito”, “El diablo viene”, “Madre”, “Mentiroso”, “Quasimodo”, “Suena La Quija”, “Va llover”, “Guaguancó para los soneros” and “Vamos a gozar”. Our great sonero also recorded some songs in English.

Finally, we repeat that the present investigative work on the musical life of the great singer, chorister, arranger and composer Néstor Sánchez, “El Albino Divino”, is a tribute to his musical legacy with which the section “El salsero del mes” of our web page www.latinastereo.com wants to remember and keep all his work in force. Néstor Sánchez will remain forever in the hearts of the salseros of the world.

On September 2, 2003, Néstor Sánchez passed away at the age of 54 at his home in Bronx County, New York, after losing a battle with lung cancer.

Víctor Porfirio Baloa Díaz, more commonly known as Porfi Baloa

He is a Venezuelan musician, composer, producer, and arranger. Creator of the group Adolecent’s Orquesta.

His work as a pianist, arranger, and director in the orchestra has been intense, but his compositions have been the base for the triumph. He has been nominated for New York City’s star award a total of 11 times, the ACE, winning 7 of them. Apart from the prices already won in different places of America and Europe.

About 39 songs of his own composition came in first place in the Record Report, which was unique to a Venezuelan composer and a musical group (Los Adolescentes).

Personal life and beginning of Porfi Baloa

He was born on September 19 in the city of Caracas. At age 8, he was already playing the bass with matchless skills, knowing his talent as a composer at that young age.

He started very young in the world of music, having been a pianist for groups such as Las Vibraciones and Dimensión Latina.

He was the creator of the youth orchestra Salserin, being both its owner and musical producer.

Musical career

Since then, he decided to create an orchestra with a different concept, being born La Adolescent’s Orquesta, better known as “Orquesta Los Adolescentes”, so that all the songs of his four musical productions were in top positions of the national and international charts.

Adolescent`s Orquesta, a group formed by young Venezuelans between the ages of 19 and 23, was consolidated in 1995 with the support of Luis Francisco “El Negro” Mendoza and the label of Korta Record.

The band’s innovative style of performing the salsa genre rapidly earned hundreds of fans who made the release a success at home and abroad in a few weeks.

The passion for music and the creative magic in lyrics took Porfi Baloa to compose infinities of music hits, which, along with his Adolescentes, has managed to show and take to the 4 continents.

Porfi Baloa is the winner of approximately 87 awards, 4 Billboard Awards nominations, and 3 lo Nuestro Awards nominations, and has a record of 60 first places in the Venezuelan Hit parade.

Around 39 songs of his authorship have been positioned in the first place of the Record Report, being a unique case for a Venezuelan composer and a Venezuelan musical group (Los Adolescentes).

The high degree of expertise in his arrangements and compositions, coupled with the playing of the piano, bass, congas, bongo, timbal, and trombone have made him a well-rounded musician and composer in his genre.

He went inside of the hearts of the public thanks to the records made by his group such as: “Reclamando nuestro espacio”, “Persona ideal”, “La misma pluma”, “Ahora más que nunca”, “Búscame”, “Sellos de mi ADN”, including his other groups such as “Chiky Salsa” and “El Klan de Porfi”.

Songs like Persona ideal (me Tengo que ir), Virgen, Me negó, Aquel Lugar, Anhelo, among others, have had great commercial success at both national and international levels.

After 20 years of artistic career, he returns in 2016 with a new single, Bésame, which spent 17 weeks in the musical bill and rises to the post of honor to become the 61st hit that Porfi Baloa obtains as First Place in the Record Report.

Eliel Rivero, “The Shaman of the Trombone”

The versatility, trajectory, and professionalism of this musician and composer, born in the capital of Venezuela, make him one of the most important and sought-after salsa bastions in the country.

This time comes to Salsa Escrita “La Columna Salsera de Barquisimeto”, the outstanding trombonist Eliel Rivero Rivas, who was born on April 3, 1961, and already has an artistic life with more than 40 years; for this and many reasons, we bring to our readers a complete review about “El Chamán del Trombón”, as he is jokingly nicknamed by his musical friends.

Eliel, welcome to the salsa column, which is currently dedicated to providing information on the happenings of Afro-Caribbean music and therefore also projects and makes known nationally and globally the musical talent here.

To begin with, we want to know how were your beginnings in music? -My life was surrounded by music since I was a child since my grandfather Pablo Emilio Rivas was the first tuba player of the Symphonic Orchestra of Venezuela, besides that in the family gatherings we listened from symphonic music to the most emblematic Caribbean artists of the moment, and so on, until I lived in Los Frailes de Catia, Macapaya sector, there was “La Dimensión Latina” and I was captivated by a cover where the trombone was shown, I think it was Dimensión Latina 76, and since that time I said, I would like to learn to play that instrument, but I did not do it because it was so expensive to buy one. Until one day Rodrigo Mendoza, who had just joined Dimensión Latina and who lived in front of my house, heard me playing a trombone solo of the song “Yo tenía una mujer” by Roberto Roena in a meeting that we often had and he told me: start studying that instrument.

The versatility, trajectory and professionalism of this musician and composer, born in the capital of Venezuela, make him one of the most important and sought-after salsa bastions in the country.

From then on my musical career began, I was able to buy a trombone and thus began this beautiful story that I enjoy to this day, thanks to the support of my family. I began to have contact with many musicians in the area, among them, Johán Muñoz, a brother sent to me by God, Antonio Acevedo “Toñito”, son of maestro Dugarte, trombonist of the Sinfónica Venezuela and Alberto Crespo, who also lived in Los Cuatro Vientos de los Frailes.

We all followed the trajectory of orchestras and musicians that rehearsed in the area such as “La Banda y su Salsa Joven”, “La Renovación”, we followed the steps of Alejandro Pérez Palma, Faustino González, Enrique Blanco “El Bachaco”, César Monjes “Albóndiga”, José Antonio Rojas “Rojitas”, Nené and Taíto Piñango and many more. From that moment I began to take my course as a trombonist with seriousness and professionalism until today.

Eliel, where did you study music and with whom? My friend Carlos, I studied theory and solfeggio at the Musical Association of the Federal District with maestros Daniel Contramaestre and Daniel Milano.

I continued my training at the “Simón Bolívar” Conservatory of Music, directed by maestro José Antonio Abreu, and at the “José Ángel Lamas” music school, under the guidance of professors Ángelo Pagliuca, Tiero Pezutti, Antonio Estévez, Erick Colón, among others.

I continued my professional and work training with the “Simón Bolívar” Symphony Orchestra for 40 years, sharing with different masters of national and international music.

At the same time, I had the opportunity to participate as an active or guest musician in national and international orchestras of the salsa genre.

Now that you mention the salsa genre, with which orchestras and vocalists have you participated? Professor, at the national level, apart from the Simón Bolívar Symphony, Municipal Symphony, Venezuelan Symphony and Caracas Philharmonic, I have been on stage with: Bailatino, Oscar D’León, El Pavo Frank, Mariana, Marianella, Andy Durán, Cheo Navarro con Tributo, la Banda Sigilosa, Orlando Poleo, Hildemaro, Alfredo Naranjo y su Guajeo, Silva y Guerra, Saxomanía, Trina Medina, Orlando Watussi, Magia Caribeña, Moisés Daubaterre with Grupo Mango, Bacheo, Servando y Florentino, Naty y su Orquesta, La Negramenta, El Trabuco Venezolano, La Nueva Parranda, Canelita Medina, Javier Plaza, Guarará, among other participations to which I have been invited.

And as for international artists and groups, which ones have you worked with? My friend Carlos, I have had the honor of accompanying: Gilberto Santa Rosa, Celia Cruz, Justo Betancourt, Nino Segarra, Eddie Santiago, Willie González, Roberto Lugo, Ismael Miranda, Maelo Ruiz, Cheo Feliciano, Paquito de Rivera, Andy Montañez and in relation to artists outside the salsa genre: Rafael, Andrea Bocelli and José Luis Rodríguez “El Puma”.

Excellent and admirable career Eliel, now, what can you tell us about who you have recorded with? Indeed Carlos, I have made recordings with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, Música Latinoamericana, Bailatino, El Pavo Frank, Naty y su Orquesta, Victor Quintana, Rumberos del Callejon, Bacheo, Un Solo Pueblo, Trina Medina, Saxomania, La Dimension Latina with Joseito Rodriguez, La Negramenta, Orlando Poleo, Carlos Julio “El Oso”, Juan Pablo Barrios, Víctor Cardona y su Máquina de la Salsa, Gilberto Santa Rosa con la Sinfónica Venezuela, Cheo Navarro y su Orquesta Tributo, Francisco Requena, Oscar Dudamel, Otilio Galíndez, Luisito Quintero, among others.

Eliel, what can you tell us about your facet as a composer? I started when I was 13 years old and I have written songs for the following artists: Orquesta Los Satélites de Cheché Mendoza with the song “Sufrí por ti” on the LP Di Corazón, I have also written compositions for the Sabadonga orchestra, Oscar Dudamel, Victor Quintana and most for the Bailatino group, of which the hit “Bailatino llegó” was versioned and recorded by the Hispanic Orchestra of Harlem (SHD) of New York under the name “Baila Latino” on the CD “Viva la Tradición”, Grammy award-winning album.

World Artistic Tours? I have performed in Italy, France, Spain, Japan, Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Switzerland, England, Holland, USA, Mexico, Australia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Peru.

At present, what do you do besides being with different orchestras?

Well, Professor Carlos, I am currently involved in pedagogical activities with the trombone, doing master classes and I am a frequent guest in the “Orquesta Nuevo Mundo” of Bogota, directed by Alejandro Orellana, covering symphonic salsa and permanently in the trombone and composer with the group Bailatino.

By the way, how did Cheo Navarro ask you to be part of the staff of musicians of Bailatino y Tributo? In fact, my friend Carlos, that was one night when we were in block 6 of 23 de Enero in Caracas, we greeted each other and he told me that he wanted to make a band to cure us playing the salsa that fed our lives, such as Palmieri, Libre, Mon Rivera, Típica 73, Bobby Rodríguez and others.

And I told him to count on me and since at that time I was playing with Johán Muñoz with Ajoporro of Grupo Mango in private parties, Cheo told me: “Tell Johán if he wants to participate in this project” and the affirmation was not long in coming. As for “Tributo”, the same thing happened, Cheo wanted to record emblematic songs that nurtured his career, and of course, we gave him our support since those of us who recorded in that project are from “Bailatino”.

Finally, what are your social networks? My social networks are Eliel Bailatino on Facebook and eliel_bailatino on Instagram. Concluding, we want to know why that nickname “El Chamán”. Ha, ha, ha, ha, my friend Carlos, that epithet was given to me by my great friends of the “Negramenta” Orchestra.
